This is not a drop of course please see our discord server if you need to coordinate carpool with another parent. About the Course Our family gatherings facilitate community by encouraging different age groups to come together to solve problems, play games and triumph over challenges. We will make fires, cook food, go on wanders, play games and learn survival skills. Family gatherings are a great option if you are new to the outdoors but will still challenge even experienced outdoorsmen. Course Objectives We expect students to demonstrate basic outdoor competence by participating in weekly games, activities, workshops and sit spots. Students will demonstrate proficiency in the big 4 (shelter water fire food) by building, carving, and practicing the techniques instructors teach and facilitate during class. Students will choose at least one topic that inspires them to study, practice, experiment with and dive deeper into with the guidance of our instructors, the community and nature itself.
